The Kukalle vase, designed in collaboration with designer Antonio Gurrola, is a Scandinavian interpretation of Japanese art of flower arrangement known as ikebana. The mouth-blown glass vase features a removable, flowingly shaped glass funnel that supports single flowers and stems, and emphasizes their beauty by creating an airy ring around it. Without the funnel, the vase fits also larger bouquets of flowers. Kukalle, ”for a flower” in Finnish, was a winner of the Mastermark design competition arranged in 2017 to celebrate the centenary of Finland's independence.
